I drink you in. A cold silhouette with surface humor and evil eyes, cold and light. Afraid. You are the abused, I am the doctor and our hearts are the staircase upon which we fell. Come to me, in my heart of hearts. Let's fly north for the winter, my newly found beauty. Drink me in and I promise to taste like truth. Kind eyes sweltering and dark. Braver than I've ever been now, my love. Forget about convention for a second. Inhale. Hold on to a hand-me-down soul. Tell the kids I had to leave, but I'll make it up to them. It's so simple I could just vomit. All these petty fakers surrounded by cowards and liars. Don't count on me ever coming back. Life isn't fair, but isn't that what we're running from? Don't you get it? I roll over and touch them in my dreams and i wake up screaming! In the meantime, you'll end up in off-white heaven and I'll end up in Halloween hell and our parents will tell us that we're handsome and we'll believe them. There is an oath that takes place between dying and dead. This is an oath I will never take. I thought we had a deal.
